A beautiful pink-red colour leads you into aromas of watermelon skin and red berries. A sweet and sour palate reveals nice dry pomegranate and violet characteristics enveloping the mouth. A perfect Terroir vs. grape balance. A serious pinot that is equally at home in a business meeting, or for a romantic date. Lovingly vegan.

Vintage 2021

After a warm January, the Yarra Valley experienced near

perfect conditions for the latter part of ripening. Moderate

days and cool nights resulted in fruit with optimal ripeness

and flavours at lower sugar levels. Smaller yields were in hot

demand, offering exceptional concentration and flavour. We

are so excited to say that what has been produced is wine

of exceptional balance and strength that will be a vintage to

cherish.

Winemaking

The whole bunch component has fallen into place very well

against a back drop of lovely red fruits, fine yet substantial

tannins and balanced oak. This is how we would love all our

wines to be at this stage of life. Drinking really well now,

showing a clear representation of terroir and showing promise

of a great future. Matured for 8 months in 11% new and 15%

2nd fill Allier barrels.
